Price: £7.99-£8.49

What It Says:

Great product to use for transitioning "Co-wash", detangle, condition... there are "no-restrictions" with this amazing moisturizing conditioner

Side - "Co-wash" or condition there are "no-restrictions" with our amazing Moisturizing Conditioner, which is made with rosemary, sage, nettle and other ingredients. When conditioning, place a generous amount of No Restrictions Moisturizing Conditioner in palm of hand then evenly distribute throughout your hair. Comb through with wide tooth comb to ensure even coverage from root to end. If hair is damaged, sit under a plastic cap for 5 minutes or under plastic cap and hooded dryer for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly then style.

Free of SD alcohol, parabens & mineral oil.

Ingredients: aqua (water), polyquaternium-37, propylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate, ppg-1 trideceth-6, glycerin, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, glycine soja (soybean) oil, behentrimonium methosulfate, cetearyl alcohol, dimethicone, quaternium-80, persea americana (avocado) oil, hydrolyzed collagen, panthenol, anthemis nobilis (chamomile) extract, salvia officinalis (sage) extract, urtica dioica (nettle) extract, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) extract, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, achilea millefolium (yarrow) extract, actinidia chinensis (kiwi) fruit extract, peg-9 dimethicone, parfum (fragrance), amyl cinnamic aldehyde, benzyl benzoate, d-limonene, lilial, linalool, dehydroacetic acid, benzyl alcohol, ci 19140 (yellow #5), ci 42053 (green #3).

What I'd Say: Curls Unleashed No Restriction Moisturizing Conditioner is a wash-out conditioner. You get 340g for around £8, a little steep for a traditional conditioner, plus it did not take me long to finish this product. It comes in a tub which I find is a bit fiddly to use in the shower for a mid-week co-wash.

The conditioner is a mint green colour, slightly thick consistency and it has a "perfumey" scent. As far as detangling goes this conditioner provides "ok" slip but not the best. The first time I used this conditioner I tried it with a plastic cap and left it on for about half hour and afterwards my hairs was quite curly, bouncy and it did feel a bit moisturised for a little while but not for long. I also tried without the plastic cap and once again dry but defined curls.

Like I mentioned for the Take Command Curl Defining Cremé although the ingredients don't include parabens and mineral oils, the ingredients aren't all natural and there are some ingredients in there that are questionable like silicons, propylene glycol.

Quick Review:

  • Gives good curl definition
  • OK slip
  • Not really “Organic” or great ingredients
  • Strong smell
  • Didn't moisturise
  • Not the best packaging
  • A little expensive

Bottom line: Wouldn't buy it again.
